COMMENTS: Yr 10 Graphics Intro 1=I am pleased to report that #N has made #quality start to #h chosen GCSE in Graphic communication by working #Hasworked and producing #range in #h portfolio and making the best use of the time available. #N can now select and use a wide range of graphical techniques and materials suitable to convey ideas effectively. The quality of annotation and analysis shows a thorough understanding of artists. 2=#N has #occurance worked #Hasworked throughout the Year 10 GCSE Graphic communication making the best use of the time to produce a folder and sketchbook that is #quality standard. By following the course #e can now select and use appropriate graphical techniques and processes suitable to convey design intentions clearly. Folder work completed is presented with #quantity2 ideas that help to make the product individual. Annotation and analysis reflect #understanding of the artists studied so far. 3=#N has worked steadily in Year 10 GCSE Graphic communication and #Effort on the presentation side of #h folder work. When asked to sketch and present ideas #e can select and use appropriate rendering and modelling techniques to convey ideas to others. Although #N is able student #e rushes to complete the task, often reducing the impact of the final finish and overall quality. #N is #studenttype student, #engagement and is #hasbeen to teach. Artist research is presented with increasing detail. 4=#N has #howmuch worked hard on #h Year 10 GCSE Graphic communication for units completed so far and has produced some experimental, innovative, exciting outcomes. Although #h portflio is at a fair standard #N is an able student who needs to focus on bringing #h development work and final ideas up to the same quality as #h research. Recent folder work shows #understanding of artists studied so far. #N has worked #Hasworked so far and has been #hasbeen to teach. 5=During class time #N has displayed a natural talent and works hard producing good quality pieces competently and effectively. However the portfolio amassed over the term does not reflect this. Unfortunately due to a lack of organisation there are pieces of work missing or lost, what remains is incomplete and #h sketchbook is not always brought to the lesson. If this continues next year the 60% of marks generated by course work will be severely affected. 6=#N has progressed steadily through the Year 10 Graphic communication showing that with determination, effort and patience a pass can be obtained. #N can always be relied upon to put maximum effort into tasks ahead and the time spent on course work is apparent. Folder work is produced with care and attention ensuring that ideas are clear to themselves and others. #N is #studenttype student and has worked #Hasworked. Detail and annotation show increasing understanding of artists studied so far. 7=#N has not made the best of opportunities made available to #m in Graphic Communication. Sketchbooks have been repeatedly forgotten or lost and when it arrives basic presentation is lacking with large gaps. The digital portfolio remains untouched between lessons hindering progress. The lack of effort will hinder any significant progress in this subject. #E has the ability to do so much better and is capable of achieving #quality grade. There is support available to achieve this. 8=#N has not had it easy this year and has found elements of the course a challenge. I am pleased to note however that difficulties with using the different CAD packages and various drawing methods are showing #quantity improvement. Written work is also improving in detail. #N has #howmuch put effort into tasks this year and #Effort as a result. With continued determination and patience I am sure #e will achieve a grade worthy of #h efforts. #N has been #hasbeen to teach. COMMENTS: Yr 10 Middle 1=#N #occurance presents #h sketchbook in #presentation way. This will be down to the #qualitybehaviour time spent on presenting work. 2=#N has #presentation style which would support a #pass grade at GCSE. 3=#N has produced work that is considered #presentation series of outcomes. #E #occurance taking the time to present work in a #quantity way. 4=#N #howmuch takes risks when using new materials and media. This #howmuch results in #qualitybehaviour outcomes. 5=#N has #occurance handed in homework on time and finished off classwork at home to maintain progress. 6=#N is #studenttype student who works with #WorkRate. #E is #howmuch #involvement .
