In the unit 'Why are sacred texts important?' # found out about the importance and significance of sacred texts to believers. ^ has used a variety of sources: written, visual and real people. ^ used material taken directly from the sacred text and studied its meaning and its effect on the lives of believers. # discovered the messages within sacred texts, and developed ~ own understanding of this type of material and its effect on people's lives. ^ was given the opportunity to think about the significance of important words in ~ own life, which could provided further opportunities for ~ spiritual and moral development.
